All employees should have a competent understanding and be aware of possible fire hazards that exist in their workplace. Employees should also know what to do in case of a fire.After successfully completing this course, employees will have the competent understanding of the following:
• Describing the fire triangle and how fires start and spread• Components of a fire and dangers• Identifing procedures that can help prevent fires• Proper training, response, emergency action plans, and evacuation procedures (planning & steps)• OSHA requirements regarding emergency action planning, fire prevention plans, and evacuations in the event of a serious fire (Regulations: 29 CFR 1910.38 and 1910.39)• And more!
